01. Decaying Duplex Gets a Transformation

Mina and Karen snag a four-bedroom, two-bathroom duplex for only $4,000. But with one of the worst foundations they've ever seen combined with unsafe floor joists on the second floor, Mina expects to spend upwards of $200,000 on the renovation. When Tad demos the chimney and puts a hole in the roof, the women grow more concerned about their budget. They hope that their attention to detail in the beautifully finished single-family home will pay off.
02. Abandoned Rebuild Rescued

03. An Office Becomes a Home

The location is a sizable former office space with no discernable bedrooms so the girls are excited to utilize the blank canvas. While their finished product is beautiful, they may soon realize they've too far in that neighborhood -- and maybe too far over their budget.

A house this size will ultimately require more construction workers, more hammers and ultimately more danger. Will they be able to give this home a new floor plan that's perfect for single-family living?
10. Beautifying a Boring Boxy Home

Mina has second thoughts that a charmless, boxy house bought from the city for $4,000 might have been a bad idea. But Karen sees the potential and convinces Mina that they'll be able to transform this 'giant cube' into an adorable single family home. Even though it's undesirable at first glance, Mina and Karen strip it down and turn this boring, rectangular house into a beautiful work of art, truly adding value to the neighborhood.
11. Small House, Big Problems
