Huw is convinced that Jan is an undercover police officer, much to the annoyance of his wife Caroline. Gruff, meanwhile, becomes increasingly concerned about the prospect of a half-naked image of him appearing on the internet, and Richard and Sali continue to play little games within their soulless marriage. Richard pays more attention to his new neighbour, and Jack's 18th birthday party proves an ideal time for the residents to meet, mingle and fall out.

Linda's life becomes increasingly complicated, and Huw finds himself contending with his disruptive wife and her troublesome brother Bobo, and Tony appears to rule himself out as a suspect after taking to his bed.
