School's out for the summer, and Kate has some surprise activities planned for the kids including a family beach trip to Florida. Kate also gets back in the dating game, but not without checking in with the kids first. Cara and Mady are high-school bound, so Kate worries the girls might be losing interest in her big summer plans. Despite their growing pains, the family continues to support each other every step of the way.

Kate and the kids try their hand at deep sea fishing and Cara and Mady search the internet for healthy recipes to use. The family goes to a water park for the very first time and visits Alligator Beach, where Alexis got to be an assistant with her favorite reptile.

Kate takes Mady antiquing to find some deals on vintage items. Meanwhile, the family takes a trip to the Land of Little Horses in Gettysburg, Pa.; and Kate judges the kids' cooking competition.

The Gosselin family plants their garden, have a lemonade stand and then do Yoga. They also have a surprise burial to attend.

Kate throws a party to celebrate the completion of her new deck. Kate and the girls enjoy a day at the spa; and the boys learn magic tricks.
