
Two NYPD Cops dialogue continuously, debating everything under the sun. Midtown is based on the true cop stories of former NYPD cop turned improv comedian Scott Baker. The show features Scott and Tom Malloy, star of the film Love N' Dancing (Dir: Rob Iscove) and graduate of the famous IoWest Improv Training center in Los Angeles. The series features real cop banter, and is based on situational humor related to being a cop in the NYPD. All of the dialogue is unscripted, and relies only on the improv comedy talents of Baker and Malloy.

MIDTOWN is the brainchild of former NYPD Cop Scott Baker. After writing the ultra-popular book THE FUNNIEST COP STORIES EVER, Scott began doing stand up and became a top improv comedy performer. On a film set,, he met Tom Malloy, an actor, writer, and comedian, and they realized they had a banter between them that was unmatched. Tom was a graduate of the famed IoWest Improv School in Los Angeles (former graduates include Chris Farley & Tina Fey). This is comedy at its best, with two guys who talk like cops talk.
01. Meet Walsh

The Midtown cops meet Officer Walsh, a racist, sexist, cop who has no idea that he's offending anyone. When Baker and Malloy are called away, Walsh steps in to give a motivational speech to a group of gifted kids, which does not end well.
02. Spiderman

After Baker debates the existence of Jewish superheroes, Malloy confesses that his new Jewish girlfriend is causing changes in his behavior. As Malloy spews Jewish expressions and logic, Baker contends that Malloy is pushing too hard and will drive his girlfriend away.

In the pilot episode of Midtown, we meet Baker and Malloy, two New York City cops who have an opinion on everything. They discuss the gay pride parade, using NLP with people on the street, and meet a comic impersonator.
04. Proprietary Blend

In order for Baker and Malloy to track down a guy who's been assaulting transgender men in the city, they dress as women. Malloy's "proprietary blend" of cologne sparks a hot debate as to whose more attractive to the assaulter.
05. Powerball

Baker and Malloy debate the odds of the Powerball while dealing with a man who thinks he's a werewolf, a woman who believes her cat dolls are alive, and a gypsy woman who puts a curse on Malloy for insulting her.
06. Hot Burglary

The cops are back and they still never stop talking. In the 2nd episode of Midtown, Baker and Malloy deal with an attractive woman who was a victim of a burglary, which leads them to debate women on the street, who'd they rather sleep with, and who they want to read about on overnight stakeouts.
