01. Rivers

Colin travels up the River Wye following the salmon, while Lucy discovers the wilder side of canals at night. We go behind the scenes with Steve Backshall and the Wild Alaska Live team as they try to film the elusive salmon shark There is also a look at how the return of one of Britain's long-lost beasts, the beaver, is changing the landscape, as well as how the UK's rivers are important for one of the world's most peculiar fish - the sea lamprey.

Lucy investigates how the success of the pine marten in Scotland is also helping a recovery of the animals in Wales. Colin travels deep into one of Britain's wildest places, Keilder Forest, and we go behind the scenes with the Wild Alaska team tracking down grizzly bears. We also discover the surprising blue beetle living in the heart of Dartmoor's wooded valleys and learn how the wild boar has made a comeback.

We also discover some top tips for finding the wild amongst the city and reveal how even the kingfisher can find a home in the hustle and bustle of London.
